Therefore, I selected a case study because it provides ways of combining data from events and personal perspectives regarding those events. According to Ghauri et al. (2020), the case study provides richer information compared to all other research methods. Therefore, using a case study to complete my thesis, presented an opportunity to generate informative findings with minimal errors. For instance, I decided to base my research findings from various lone wolves cases that involved Eric Robert Rudolph, Timothy Mcveigh, and Nidal Hasan who were convicted because of executing terrorist attacks in the U.S. Moreover,, case study research method helps researchers to compare different cases to perform commonality analysis. For instance, I intended to collect a list of lone-wolf terrorism cases from local and global organizations and compare them to determine the common aspects in them.
