Some AT that can be used to integrate these students in the school and community include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for kids with autism, clicker software to help children with Down’s syndrome to develop speech, speech synthesizers, and speech-recognition programs for those with Spina Bifida and lastly, overhead projectors, electronic alarm clock, and timers to help students with FAS (Zilz & Pang, 2019).
