A policy is a rule to guide decisions made in court to achieve rational outcomes. The standardized version of the policy cycle includes agenda setting, policy formulation, adoption, implementation, and evaluation. Courts’ decisions significantly impact the policy, law, and executive actions, so judges are supposed to respect decisions made by courts (Johnson, & Pechota, 2020). However, the supreme court can overturn laws and execute actions they deem unconstitutional or unlawful. This power allows judges to make the final judgment on setting their bounds, as well as their immunity checks. The courts interpret the constitution and order when laws are made or government actions violate the constitutions. Any policy made must follow the constitutions, and it should be in the best interest of the affected parties.
