1. Why is a clear understanding of audience so important in constructing each

type of document assigned for Project 4 (cover letter/resume, statement

of purpose for grad school, and advocacy/complaint letters)?

2. In what specific ways will you apply your framing analysis skills as

you compose the documents for your Project 4 choice? Be as specific as

possible in answering this question.

If the ad didn’t specify any requirements, I will indicate the skills that are commonly required in the career field and add other items that would give me an added advantage; and are still relevant to the job. I will also maintain a clear focus on the exact job I’m interested in by prioritizing my statements so that the one most relevant appears first. The title I used on my resume will indicate my career goals and be accompanied by my top credentials. My objective will be more concise making the hiring manager consider me for the job. Finally, I will modify duties and accomplishments in an honest way that will relate to the job I’m applying for. The most apposite qualifications will be at the top of the job description.
