I believe that this is a great innovation as it will help during rush hours in avoiding unnecessary traffic jams. Studies show that traffic jams could be avoided simply by equaling driver speeds and reactions. This is also useful for drivers that travel long distances as it reduces driver fatigue and gives the driver room for position changing more safely. Once the driver has reached his desired speed, he can set the ACC and only focus on the terrain. Another advantage of the cruise control is it keeps the speed constant, helping those drivers who subconsciously tend to over speed avoid violating the speed limit. In conclusion, this is an innovation that I would definitely recommend to everyone as it doesn’t hurt to have an extra pair of eyes on the road.
