One of the paramount artifacts is the Orb of prophecy and change which is associated with the Star Trek fan culture.  The Orb artifact represents humanities in many ways, and the first includes the ability to foresee the future thus aid the humans to make a better judgment on their decision.  Also, the Orb had adequate knowledge thus portrayed the qualities of a human.
