Thus, retailers ought to study the market and match its products with the customer’s present desires, to maintain its stability in the market and not to ultimately close their stores. J. Crew has a problem of fixing prices of its products and trying to copy the sister store Madewell. No price in the store was under $95 in some departments, although the customers had complained. Similarly, J. Crew has a problem with fashion, as men’s clothing did not seem to have changed too much style-wise (Tyler, 2018). A customer would have liked the pretty preppy accessories but was also expensive; Sunglasses cost almost $60. Hence, J.
