Companies need to understand their customers to improve their experiences by segmenting them into certain groups using aspects like the demographic data which includes the customers’ age or gender. Companies could also consider using the socioeconomic status such as the customer’s geography or use the behavior data such as the customers’ purchase intent. Businesses that have integrated this marketing strategy have seen improved customer satisfaction as well as increased sales.
