Groups- International Healthcare, (Insurance and Managed Care)
Purpose– Examine the differences between US Healthcare and it’s system of insurance with another country.
Points– 50
Logistics– Each group will submit their research in the form of a paper, one submission per group. Although there is not stipulation for length of paper, the topic is expected to be thoroughly covered.
Each group will also prepare a powerpoint presentation and will share their research in class.
Requirements
1.Choose another country and submit country chosen to instructor, there will be no duplicates between groups.
2.Consider the following in your research.
- For the chosen country- research the concept of insurance in that country
- Research how managed care is accomplished (utilization, cost sharing, networks..)
- Consider how the country is satisfied with their system
- Contrast all of the above with the US system ( just do that part )
write 2 pages about the contrast all of the above with the USA system

Rwanda is a densely populated East African country rocked with health concern such as infant diseases, the HIV/AIDS pandemic, malaria, and tuberculosis.
