One example of how first level supervisors can play an important role in leadership is through the aspect of harmonization. This is whereby the supervisor creates harmony between the demands of the top management and those of the operational level workers without creating any disagreements in between them. A second example of the critical role played by the first level supervisors on leadership is that of the assigning of duties.
