The series “Ask A Slave” is about a slave housemaid name Lizzie Mae who works in the house of George Washington. Lizzie Mae works for 18 hours a day, seven days a week for the whole year. Mae rarely gets time to spend with her family due to her working hours. The only time she is free is when Washington’s have gone to church. Many people think that it is a privilege working for Washington’s, well, that is not the case according to Mae. Another housemaid had escaped a few days earlier, and Mae has increased workload.
