Malala has launched an international campaign for women’s education. She stated in a speech at the UN “Let us pick up our books and our pens. They are our most powerful weapons. One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.”

Explain the significance of this statement, the significance of this being said by a girl from SWAT, as well as in the significance Malala and her campaign has on the current political atmosphere of the global community. Education is an essential component of every person, regardless of being a girl or a boy.  It helps a person become smarter and learn new things and facts around the world.
