Whether or not a COVID-19 mandate would be effective? Will it generate a backlash that worsens the pandemic? **Can we end the pandemic without a vaccine mandate?

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, many people have lost their lives globally due to a lack of medication. People have believed that the pandemic can end without the vaccine by sanitizing and wearing masks. However, some people were diagnosed with the disease and healed while others did not. By December 2020, the world health organization released the first vaccine, which was believed to end the pandemic (Gostin et al., 2021). There has been a controversy about whether the vaccine should be mandated or not. Dr. Tina Tan, professor of pediatrics, said she had no clear information on whether the vaccine was good for pregnant women, infants, and breastfeeding women, bringing a controversy of whether to mandate the vaccine or not.
