Answer preview

People usually engage in riots whenever they are not satisfied with some decisions or actions. Differences in political views may cause riots to escalate, especially when one political side is not satisfied. In the United States, liberals and conservatives have different political views. For example, liberals believe in equal opportunity for all people, including the minority. Conservatives believe in an economy where people pay lower taxes and exercise a free-market system. Sometimes these groups may become extremists when they feel like they are oppressed. A good example of recent violence that resulted from differences in political views is the January 6th Capitol riot.
