The motivation of employees is a critical aspect of any organization. Happy employees are productive employees. The performance of an organization is to some extent dependent on the employees’ motivation on the job environment. There are many methods that any particular organization can use to motivate its employees. Development of a good communication behavior towards the employees is a good method to motivate employees. Face-to-face communication with employees depicts employers’ value for his workers. Another method that can be used is the empowerment of the employees. This gives employees the chance to have more control in the way they execute their duties (Lazaroiu, 2015). This imparts creativity and innovation. This helps employees discover their potential. Providing employees with incentive encourages them to continue doing the job. This incentive includes money or other gifts. Employees should be provided with a room for future advancements. This is through training which helps in developing their skills with aim of advancing in their career.
