Answer previewRepublicanism is the ideology of a state being formed and governed on the basis of its citizen’s decisions. The people have the final say in matters concerning their welfare and that of their country. Republicanism in America was created and first practiced by the founding fathers in the 18th century. After the revolution against royal authority, Americans decided to replace the monarchy with republicanism. This is because those who invoked the ideology strongly refuted the practices of the monarchial world (Gauthier, 2017).(709words)
