NextJen Corporation’s Vice President of Human Resources has approached your team for assistance in recruiting and developing your organization’s future leaders. 60% of your company consists of millennials and your team has been charged with how to successfully increase the number of millennials as leaders in your organization. At this time, senior management is reluctant and disinterested in promoting the millennials to leadership roles.
In Week Two, your team identifed 4-5 best practices the company should have to develop leadership in its millennial employees. You conducted an audit and discovered where the organization was weak in effecting these best practices. You also came up with an effective plan to get the executives’ attention and persuade them of the value of a leadership development program for its millennials.
Now, you are expected to develop a convincing and persuasive presentation for your senior leadership that will present your results them to encourage millennials as leaders in your organization as follows:
Re-examine your plan from Part 1 as a team.
Create a 6-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation with speaker notes that contains the following components:
- Include the pathways necessary to accomplish these goals by identifying the objective(s), methods of achieving the objective(s), and finally, ways to measure success.
- Include at least one short video presentation within a slide.
Your presentation should incorporate what we have been learning about leadership models, best practices needed by companies in order to prepare future leader, and how transformational leadership may assist in this process.
Cite a minimum of three peer reviewed sources not including your text in a references page at the end of the presentation.
Format citations consistent with APA guidelines.
