Answer preview
My final decision in this hearing would be that the decision to dismiss Wilson Worker was wrong. It is because the conducted investigation did not gather enough information for a dismissal. It is because the decision was made using the information provided by the informer and did not consider the employee’s statement on the issue. Although Wilson was a hardworking and faithful employee for a long time, the tax assessor concluded that he was dishonest after the incident (Berman, Bowman, West, & Van Wart, 2020). Wilson did not deny making changes to the tax charges, which he says happened when experimenting on a new system. After realizing the effect of the changes, he consulted a colleague who told him that the permanent records would not be affected. The same colleague is the one who makes the call with allegations that Wilson has committed the wrongful act.
