Job analysis helps develop a job description entailing the qualifications, skills, and responsibilities that the hired employee should perform. The job evaluation process then helps determine critical aspects such as the pay. Hence, Weathington and Weathington (2020) explain that performing job evaluation is crucial for it allows the HR management to weigh an employee’s role and offer the basis for determining their salary. Based on the identified job description of a human resource manager, a job evaluation plan would help determine the compensation. The first step would be examining the designed HR job description. The second factor would be selecting an evaluation method, which would be the point factor system. Through this approach, an assessment of the skills, responsibilities, qualifications, work complexity, working environment, and work leadership would inform the job value in service, administrative, operations, supervisory, and technical support (Masanja, 2019)
