The U.S. Preventive Task Force refers to an independent entity in medical care and prevention comprised of experts that undertake a methodical investigation of the data related to efficacy and generate preventative medical guidelines (Force, 2016). The review panel, which is made up of physicians with skills in biostatistics, epidemiology, decision sciences, health services research, and medical ethics, undertakes studies and projects related to the organization’s mission (Force, 2016).
