Many people often assume that the terminologies “leaders” and “managers” refer to the same thing. Due to this assumption, most of them incorrectly use the two terms interchangeably (Blok et al., 2021). Even though there is some overlap between what leaders and managers do, this assumption and subsequent interchange of the two terms is wrong, considering they denote different concepts (Blok et al., 2021).
