It started quite normally, my alarm ticking me off, with me cussing out. Morning sleep is unusually sweet. So I said my prayers, stretched a little bit and wore my joggers and went straight to the fridge as I was as hungry as a wolf. I gobbled up my ceremonial bowl of cereals, took my bottle of water and up woke up ‘Mufasa,’ my hairy German shepherd dog for the usual morning run. My parents had gone out for their anniversary date night and had not yet come back home. It was the twenty-sixth day in my thirty-day self-imposed weight loss program.
