In his tribute, “female intelligence,” Rosalina Balaciosos is demonstrating five women with various costumes and in separate positions who hold up the heavens. Below one of these women in the central, Rosalina is illustrating the power of women by empowering them through this art. This mural is serving as a model for new generations despite gender discrimination that took place during 1986. Rosalina Balaciosos is depicting a ring of women in not only power but also strengths considering the positions of each woman in this art. Also, the mural reflects on an era in which women were inferior to men due to their gender hence were expected to retain their devalued roles of being wives and mothers.
