In clinical practice, professionalism by both physicians and nurses, assures patients of their safety and consequently builds trust amongst the clinicians and the patients (Grace, & DRN, 2017). Professionalism is essential in the treatment process and patient care. Professionalism also enhances clinical practice since the physicians can consult and work as a team. In reference to professionalism, there are various legal concepts covered by the Texas Board Of Nursing, and in this article, I will discuss some of them including good professional character, professional boundaries and unprofessional conduct.
