E-text materials and/or outside research sources should not be used as the basis of your case study.
- All phrases and para-phrases must use in-text citations (APA style) and with full references on reference page.
- Research materials should be high-quality sources such as those available through the library online databases.
- Supplementary materials (such as tables, figures, screenshots), can be present in appendices that are not included in the page limit, but their contribution to the report should be integrated within the main text.

BP’s Advertising Strategy
BP, an oil giant in Mexico, was found responsible for an environmental pollution incidence which occurred in 2010. An explosion at the Deep-water Horizon well takes place and is followed by a leak of oil for over a month. This causes the death of over ten people and also spills a lot of oil in the Gulf waters, which affected several industries, such as fishing and tourism. This saw their reputation go wrong, and most of the customers were unwilling to associate with them. They, therefore, had to come up with ways to make sure that their image was restored.
