Posts to demonstrate quality and critical thinking as noted per the syllabus must be no less than 300 words (not including references). Failure to meet the criteria will result in 0 points being awarded.

Write a paper that summarizes the main movements in literature that have been studied in each unit. See Appendix A for detailed instructions.

In each of the units of the course with assigned readings, class members post discussion of three
“key ideas,” one from each of the assigned readings.  The key ideas assignment is intended to
encourage reflective reading and demonstrate application of the idea within the public sector.
A key idea addresses what the student finds to be an important or useful concept. Each key idea

1. T. S. Eliot’s proem “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” is consider anarchetypal work of modernist literature. How does this poem show the influence of the free verse of Whitman we read for the previous unit? In what ways do its stylistic inventions go beyond that of Whitman?

Literature on leadership today describes sets of skills or traits that leaders should have, and actions that should be taken to be effective. Explain what skills and traits are useful for successful leaders. Present your position as to whether the skills or traits used in the workplace should be, or are, different for men or women.
