Southeast Asia continues to chart high records of child labor. According to research, at least 30 million underage children work in different organizations in the region. Out of the figure, at least 17 million of them stay active in child labor while the dropout rate continues to rise to at least 50 million children out of school. The relevance of the study of the topic, especially for ethical terms remains to realize the effects of child labor. The analysis shows that high dropout rates increase child labor (Hopkins & Sriprakash, 2015). Also, the continuous growth of the cases around the world promotes side effects like the lack of work-school balance.
