Answer preview

Servant leadership is quickly gaining prominence in today’s society. Even though some people might see it as a new concept, it is not (Shirin, 2014). Jesus Christ embraced this leadership style during his days on earth. Despite all the challenges that he faced, he demonstrated what servant leadership entails not only from his words but also from his actions. Jesus talked about how a leader should be in Mathew 20:25-28 (NLT), where he stated that anyone who wishes to become a leader should first be a servant. This form of leadership should never remain a theoretical concept, but Christians should adopt it as a way of life.
