this is a Literature Review, My teacher require 6-7 pages of Chicago style, this will be about Christianity in Vietnam. You basically find out the topic in the “Annals of the Propagation of the Faith” page 199-208 (link down below) (this is your primary source). after that, you are gonna research other secondary sources about that topic and reference what other authors, scholars or group of scholars’ opinion about that topic (always write the name of the author in the essay) it is required to have

– you can’t use 1 author twice for different subtopics

– 6-7 scholars are required. at least 1 encyclopedia source and 1 from a book.

– please don’t mention too much about Annals of the Propagation of the Faith in this essay yet. It will be the next essay that is gonna link it and this paper together.

Historically, China and Vietnam have some similarities concerning the issue of Christianity. In the case of China, it serves as the incentive foundation for Western missionaries who proselytized in the Malay Archipelago. Vietnam, on the other hand, was the foundation for missionaries proselytizing in Cambodia among other neighboring countries.  In mainland Southeast Asia, Christianity was perceived as foreign and both domestic for one reason. The reason is that Christianity came from two groups. The first group is the European colonizers and missionaries while the second is Vietnamese who spread Christianity further in the region.
