Cold war was not a physical war but a state where nations were living in both geographic and political tensions. Cold war began immediately after the Second World War which in itself was a real war. This cold war happened between two blocks which were the eastern and the western blocs. The east bloc consisted of the Soviet Union and her allies who were referred to as the satellite nations.
