Answer preview

The first borrowed concept is Maslow’s Theory of the hierarchy of needs (Erickson, 2017). Human beings are five different categories of needs structure in a hierarchical order. People at the bottom end with psychological needs such as the need for food, water, and rest that they have to strive to meet consistently. The higher the hierarchy a person goes, the more they come across needs that are not that important. They can fail to fulfill such requirements, and their lives will not get immensely affected (Erickson, 2017). People do not always have to feel a sense of accomplishment or self-actualization, but they have to eat food and drink water daily or regularly if they are to survive. In most cases, the needs people have will shift across the hierarchical structure depending on their set of circumstances.
