- In 5-7 paragraphs, evaluate the ethical conduct of the prosecutor, the defense attorney; and the judge. Identify areas of misconduct and describe the pressures that might have caused them. Discuss the points of discretion for these three actors with the court work group.
- Carefully proofread your writing.
- Support your conclusions with information from your textbook and other sources. Make sure to properly cite your sources according to APA guidelines.

- View the video, An Introduction to Ohio’s Court System. If you live in another state, you are encouraged to locate a description of your local state course system. - Research your local courts (the city or jurisdiction where you live) and determine what victim’s rights or victim’s advocacy programs exist. If none exist, investigate another city or jurisdiction that has them . ( City where you live- Columbus )
- In an paper of 1000-1200 words, describe the program(s). Include the services and protections they provide, how they are funded, who manages the programs, and approximately how many clients they serve in a year. If you do not know how to see the number of words in your MS Word document, refer to this website.
- Format your title page, paper, and citations according to APA guidelines. You do not need to include an abstract. You must include a references page. The title and references pages do not count toward your word total requirement.
- Carefully proofread your writing.
