Answer preview

The criminal justice (C.J.) system combines different government institutions. Those institutions’ main goal is to prevent crimes, rehabilitate lawbreakers, and offer moral support to the victims. America’s criminal justice is one of the biggest globally, with over six million people under correctional control. Out of those six million, forty-eight thousand are juveniles (Hetey & Eberhardt, 2018). Most juvenile correctional facilities are small, with no shower rooms, outdoor activities, or rehabilitation facilities. The U.S C. J has been of interest to many people due to its racial disparity and racial bias behavior.
