Critical thinking refers to a thinking process which strives towards getting below the surfaces of the matter on hand where the individual concerned can do so trying to question, probe, test, analyze as well as through exploration. The critical thinking processes require persistence skills which allow examining and re-examining the arguments so as weigh all the available evidence.
