Prompt:

Why do you think that self-care is important for social workers?

What stresses you? What stress overwhelms you?

How do you cope with these stressors?

How will you cope with these stressors when you become a social worker?

Assess you time management skills, drawing on content from Chapter 14 in Generalist Practice with Organizations and Communities. Do you procrastinate? If you are a procrastinator, how might you improve your time management (be specific). If you are not a procrastinator, what are your strategies for effective time management?

Your Tasks:

Please submit one original post (400-500 words) and respond to at least two peer posts (75-150 words). You must cite at least two relevant peer-reviewed journal articles in addition to the text. (Articles may be cited in either your initial posting or your responses to peers.) Be sure that you have addressed all parts of the required response.
