Disaster recovery plan refers to the strategies that an organization puts up to ensure the business is not paralyzed if disasters occur and destroy its data records, IT equipment and business resources. In cases where computer and network operations have been stalled and rendered inoperable by catastrophe, there are disaster recovery services employed to ensure the continuance of the business operations (Cook, 2015).
