  • Many companies use their brand as a competitive advantage. Given your knowledge about the global economy, identify three brands you believe have the strongest likelihood of remaining a source of advantage in the 21st century and explain why. Explain the effects you believe the Internet’s capabilities will have on the brands you identified in the previous discussion and what the owner of the brand should do in light of them.

Branding a company gives it a competitive advantage over its competitor in controlling a larger share in the global market. The three brands I believe have the strongest likelihood of remaining a source of advantages includes Apple Inc., which targets the electronics and information technology industry by manufacturing products such as tablets, personal computers, and mobile phones. Apple is the most recognized brand due to its outstanding products known to many consumers worldwide. The second brand is Amazon which targets the retail business by providing internet services such as selling and delivering products linking various businesses to their end-users (Steenkamp, 2017). Amazon is among the best online platforms where the consumer can buy a range of products, and it is known worldwide.
