Answer preview
Human Resource (HR) deliverables established in the HR scorecard lead to the firm’s goal by enabling the managers to implement strategic activities that drive performance, innovation, and organizational success. Key deliverables include recruitment drives requiring workforce planning, recruitment of talented individuals, induction, and orientation (Becker et al. 2001). HR policy implementation, performance appraisals, employee engagement, and motivation measures are other HR deliverables that drive results. Despite this being the case, it is often challenging for an organization to match the established strategies to HR deliverables. This happens due to the changing dynamics in organizational requirements. For instance, the changing policies in the industry or country can affect the proper implementation of the set plans. The restructuring process to integrate the regulations may be time-consuming and require a significant amount of money, among other resources, to settle the activities. Still, Becker et al. (2001) inform that low commitment among the employees in promoting goal realization is another reason. This can be contributed by poor leadership practices and inadequate motivation measures essential in enhancing job satisfaction and positive working attitudes.
