Diversity in program evaluation entails employing diverse program evaluators who have the required skills and abilities to deal with programs from various cultural setups. Modern society is comprised of integrated societal systems, but its members are subscribed to different cultures (Mertens et al., 2018). When evaluating a program’s efficiency and effectiveness, a diverse program evaluator will establish the various requirements by stakeholders from different cultures and recommend advancements that will enhance inclusivity and solve issues arising from societal disparities. Also, having diversity in program evaluation and having evaluators with diverse views on the evaluation process eliminate common biasing in the evaluation process. Biased evaluation is a severe threat to a practical program evaluation process. This is because it leads to incorrect recommendations and, consequently, the subject program’s ineffectiveness.
