Under what circumstances does John become invisible?
The loss of his foster mother, Mrs. Hunter, is one of the circumstances that forces John into depression. Her death came about as a result of an accident, where she was hit by a vehicle as she tried to cross a road (Smith, 2009). Mrs. Hunter was an essential figure in John’s life. She was his support mechanism, and her death hit him hard. Despite all the challenges that John had, she held him in high regard, often seeking to help John advance spiritually and financially. After Mrs. Hunter’s death, John loses all sense of purpose and begins to crumble.
