One of the objections is that individuals in other programs receive assistance from the taxpayer’s money and the program should thus focus to all (Chodorow Adam, 2016 May 24). Entrepreneurs who receive tax benefits and subsidies comprise a representation of such a population. The objection is thus that testing all individuals is fair as we are all beneficiaries of taxpayer’s money. My response to this is that the welfare program is a defined program in which the taxpayers are committed to directly and other government assistance can be withdrawn. The individuals on the welfare are also on the public light thus would encourage such behaviors.
