Easter celebrations

Take a religious celebration or observance from the Jewish, Christian, or Islamic tradition and trace its development through time up to the present. In what ways has it changed and how has it remained the same?

Scholars and religious leaders felt threatened by his teachings and practices, an aspect that forced them to concoct a plan to put an end to his life.[1] They brought him before Pontius Pilate for adjudication and sentencing once they arrested him after overseeing the celebration of the last supper. Pontius Pilate decided to sentence Christ to death, an occasion that would take place via crucifixion. The day this happened is commonly referred to as Good Friday, a celebration that takes place three days before Easter.[2]
