I agree that the painting is creating the perception of a lonely night. Given that there are no activities going on outside the dinner and the few customers inside. One may assume that the lady in red is holding a dollar after when the video zooms in (Dominiczak, 2017). There is also no indication of the entrance of the dinner. Hence one may keep wondering how the customers got in. Does this dinner serve beverages? There are only glasses at…
