Serial killing cases are significant issues that the criminal justice authorities have been dealing with for the longest time now. Such cases also attract the attention of academia, mental health experts, media and the public at large. Serial killers are persons that murder three people or more targets within a significant cooling period before they commit another crime. The motive of such serial killers may include seeking attention, psychological gratification, and financial gain among others.
