I believe that ethics evolve more quickly than laws in workplaces. Ethics are used in the organization to define the moral principles under which employees should behave and conduct themselves. Today, employers have become more concerned with shaping employee behaviors to promote productivity in the organization. For example, employers make employees believe that they should always ensure customer satisfaction. Therefore, every organization counts on ethics to make sure that the organization is productive. However, too much focus on ethics and forgetting about the laws may lead to serious problems in the future. Laws regulate the actions of individuals and organizations within a country. One of the advantages of laws is to stop actions that harm some people even though those actions are beneficial to others.
