Most of the organizations in the industry have not embraced environment as of yet so been one that does will take a notch higher than the other, maintaining a competitive advantage is not easy for any organization and they normally have to work hard for it. Environment management entails quite a lot, such as take care of the environmental programs that the company has in place. This will involve making sure that programs in place are comprehensive and if none exist coming up with new ones. In most cases, an organization have to take up something unique and different than the competitors are (Esty and Winston, 2009). What can be more different than an IT company taking up the environment? As the environmental manager, I will have to come up with strategies that are able to promote environmental sustainability. I will guide the internal auditors on how to become environmental friendly in the way they carry out their processes. (397words)
