Unfortunately, these were the same issues that made the workers strike early last year showing that nothing had been done to solve their grievances. It was quite sad to see that even as the workers were shouting for equal treatment, the administrators in the campus still insisted that the protestors should go back to work especially those attending to patients to save their lives. However, it got me thinking if at all, the administration cared for the patients then they would have shown that they cared about their staff. At all times, I believe that employees should be treated well since they are the ones who help organizations to offer quality services and products.
Generally, I think effective communication and leadership are essential things in a strike since such aspects help in successful mediation talks where both parties meet their objectives.
