Evolution of American Business Ethics

The Vogel article assigned in your readings was written in 1992 yet it presents several interesting ideas as to why US business ethics differ from those in other countries. Your assignment is two-fold: First, identify all of Vogel’s five main arguments and study how he supports those arguments – some of the information is out of date. Review more recent events and re-evaluate his propos. Which of Vogel’s arguments still appears to hold true? Why? Which, based on new information, can no longer be supported? Why not? Use recently published research to support your arguments.
Your paper should be 6 pages long, double-spaced, not including references. Please do NOT include an abstract.

According to Vogel, (1992), ethics define what is morally right or wrong. Business ethics are moral principles which guide how the business.
