World War II was a period in human history when many people globally encountered exceptional lifetime challenges. As a soldier, I survived against all odds, but it was not easy for a few friends and me. Seeing the end of a day was a miracle for us, especially those active in the field. April 20, 1944, is one of the significant days I will never forget during the war. Our troops were heading to the camp after a full day of bomb drops and gunshots.
