The article, “Effectiveness of a Randomized Controlled Lifestyle Intervention to Prevent Obesity among Chinese Primary School Students: CLICK-Obesity Study” illustrates that childhood obesity is an issue of concern in developing countries (Xu, et al., 2015). The purpose of the CLICK-Obesity study was to assess the effectiveness of intervention programs that modify the lifestyle of children with obesity in China. The intervention program is recognized as a school-based multi-component lifestyle for children with obesity. Based on the article, 638 students were the experiment group and 544 students were the control group. After the implementation of the intervention program, the results show that the students in the experimental group had a reduced Body Mass Index (BMI) compared to the controlled group.
